About Adrian
A commercially astute director with over two decades of experience in rail engineering and surveying, Adrian joined Pro Rail Services in 2023 as Survey Director, bringing entrepreneurial vision and a deep technical understanding of complex infrastructure projects.
Beginning his career at Balfour Beatty Rail in 2003, he progressed through various engineering roles over nearly a decade, culminating as Civil Engineering Manager where he directed both permanent and contract teams on large-scale civil rail projects. During this period, he led engineering works on high-profile schemes including the Paisley Corridor Improvement, Northwest Electrification Phase 1, and the Airdrie to Bathgate Rail Link.
In 2012, Adrian founded Geo-Info Ltd, building it into a highly successful multi-million-pound venture specialising in underground mapping and surveying across the civils, rail, and construction sectors, playing a pivotal role in projects such as the Edinburgh Glasgow Improvement, Great Western Electrification Programme, and the multi-billion-pound Crossrail Western Outer Electrification.
Since joining Pro Rail Services, Adrian has been instrumental in expanding our surveying capabilities and driving revenue growth through his extensive network of industry relationships and proven track record in securing high-value contracts.
Key responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of topographical surveying, monitoring, mapping and geophysical surveys across major infrastructure projects
- Developing and implementing innovative digital rail systems and surveying techniques
- Managing stakeholder relationships with major clients including Network Rail and tier-one contractors
- Driving business development initiatives and contract negotiations to support company growth
