About Sam
Bringing over two decades of experience to her role as Strategic Resource Manager, Sam originally joined the company as Sentinel Co-ordinator & Training Manager in 2015 before returning in 2025, ready to drive the company’s resource strategy forward.
Sam’s career spans a whole host of different sectors, from her early days as an office manager through to hire control, laboratory work, and strategic operations management. This breadth of experience, combined with her deep understanding of Pro Rail Services’ unique culture and values, makes her the ideal person to to forecast long-term resource needs and ensure the right people are matched to the right projects.
Specialising in resource management, process improvement, compliance management and team development, Sam leads both the resourcing and compliance teams whilst continuously monitoring training matrices to identify skill gaps and upskilling opportunities. Her collaborative approach sees her working closely with programme and project managers to anticipate future needs and maintain the company’s reputation for delivering excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborating with programme and project managers to forecast long-term resource requirements across all disciplines
- Managing comprehensive onboarding processes for new team members, ensuring rapid integration and productivity
- Leading and supporting both resourcing and compliance teams to maintain operational excellence
- Continuously monitoring training matrices to identify skill gaps and coordinate targeted upskilling opportunities
- Developing and implementing resource management strategies that align with company growth objectives and client demands
