Accounts Administrator
Job description
Pro Rail Services Limited is a rail civil engineering and plant family run business.
We are looking for an ambitious, motivated, experienced and reliable Accounts Administrator to join our friendly team in Welwyn Garden City. Experience in Excel will be essential for this position.
Reporting into the Finance Director you will be responsible for data entry, providing support for accounts team, including telephone, email, and general administration duties.
Duties and responsibilities
- Log all invoices that have come into the department and file in the relevant folders to be posted to CM & Xero, recording if they have all required documents for processing such as POD/POC/timesheets)
- Process and manage all overhead invoices
- Assist with the processing of purchase orders
- Responsible for raising overhead purchase orders from Xero (training, PPE, medicals, marketing etc.)
- Responsible for vehicle invoices from suppliers (fuel cards, rental, repairs, processing and payment allocations)
- Providing support for accounts team, including telephone, email, and general administration duties
- Assist in maintaining accounts email inbox, making sure all email/invoices are dealt with accordingly, accurately and in a timely manner
- Complete new credit application forms to be reviewed by financial controller
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Assisting with credit card reconciliation
- Credit control on occasion
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
