Our large Pladdet clamshell buckets have been specifically designed to fit inside our ballast boxes and to hold a larger capacity when dealing with bulk material.

These clamshells are the perfect solution for removing material from the face of an embankment or loose material from the floor.

the clamshell is controlled from the cab by the operator and is extremely versatile making it ideal for moving a wide range of materials including clay, shingle, sand, track ballast, spoil and so on.

The rail beams are a fantastic addition to our fleet, minimising the use of camlocks and manual handling. As a failsafe, the rail cannot be dropped whilst elevated as the locking mechanism works by lowering the rail onto the ground to release pressure before the jaws will open.
