Due to a near fatal accident involving a worker accessing a substation and subsequently being electrocuted due to poor building conditions and condensation, Pro Rail Services were commissioned on behalf of a Network Rail South East Route Minor Civils Framework Contractor to co-ordinate and survey over 400 Lineside buildings located in Kent and Sussex.
After a hole appeared in the 4ft and the 6ft on the Main Line just outside Forest Hill Station, NR engaged Pro Rail Services to deploy an emergency CCTV drainage unit along with skilled ops and safety critical staff to investigate a Thames Water sewer which was suspected to have caused the sink hole under the railway tracks.
