About Jonathan

Jonathan is a results-driven Business Development Manager with over 18 years’ experience in the water, utilities, and construction sectors. Having spent nearly two decades managing Tier 1 infrastructure companies in plant and tool hire, he brings deep industry knowledge and strong commercial insight to Pro Rail Services.

He has played a key role in developing sector strategies, managing multi-million-pound portfolios, and securing high-value contracts. Known for building long-term customer relationships, Jonathan ensures Pro Rail delivers solutions that are innovative, sustainable, and commercially competitive.

As part of his master’s-level studies, Jonathan is developing a neurodivergent sales coaching framework to support sales professionals in growing their careers and progressing into leadership roles. This research-led approach reflects his passion for inclusive development and equipping the next generation of sales leaders with the tools to thrive.

Jonathan is also a Committee Member of the Institute of Water South East and CECA, reflecting his wider commitment to industry development.

At Pro Rail Services, he is focused on business growth, marketing initiatives, and helping clients achieve resilient, future-proof infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

  • Contributing to business development strategy to grow Pro Rail’s presence in Rail, Water, Aviation and Energy
  • Developing and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Supporting sector marketing campaigns to showcase all of Pro Rail’s businesses expertise and value proposition
  • Identifying and shaping new opportunities in emerging markets, including Water and AMP8 infrastructure projects
  • Playing as supportive role in bid and tender activity to help secure high-value frameworks and contracts
  • Working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored, customer-focused solutions
  • Representing Pro Rail at industry events and forums to strengthen brand presence and build networks
  • Embedding sustainability, innovation, and client partnerships into business growth activity
